Studio policies

Welcome to Mr. Aaron’s Music Studio! Thank you for choosing me for your child’s musical journey. This page outlines a few simple policies to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone. Please read through and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Tuition

Tuition is divided into 10 equal monthly payments from September through June. Monthly tuition reserves a student’s weekly lesson time in the studio.

Summer lessons (July–August) are optional and scheduled on a pay-per-lesson basis, depending on availability.

Monthly tuition is due at the first lesson of each month and may be paid by cash or e-transfer to hello@aaronchungmusic.com.

Missed lessons and make-up lessons

If a student needs to miss a lesson due to vacation or other planned commitments, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. For illness or emergencies, please notify by 11:00 AM on the day of the lesson. Lessons missed without notice cannot be made up.

Students who miss a lesson due to illness or an emergency are eligible for a make-up lesson, subject to availability. For planned absences (for example vacations), make-up lessons are limited to four per school year.

Make-up lessons should be completed by the end of August.

Teacher absences and studio closures

If the teacher must cancel a lesson due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a make-up lesson or credit will be provided.

Planned studio closures (statutory holidays, school breaks) are already reflected in the annual tuition.

In case of severe weather, lessons may be rescheduled or moved online at the teacher’s discretion.

Withdrawal from lessons

Families may withdraw from lessons at any time. If withdrawal occurs mid-month, unused lessons from that month will be refunded, calculated based on the studio’s per-lesson rate.

Once a lesson has taken place, that lesson is considered completed and cannot be refunded.
